is everyone still up for the challenge?

No one has posted in awhile. Are we still doing this thing??

I fell off the wagon last Friday. It started with a vodka soda and ended at Playground. I woke up Sat morning feeling like crap, bloated and up 1 lb. Oh well. I'm back on track now and hopefully able to bring back some yummy foods into my diet later this week.

  1. It's all water weight. A pound of fat is like mid 4k calories. Gaining one real lb of fat is the equivalent of eating a large cheese pizza by yourself + the calories your metabolism uses daily to maintain your body. I think everyone experienced that last weekend...i gained about 4 lbs over saturday night haha. Dont fret. Its water. keep at it.

  2. haha I haven't even weighed myself. I've been sick this week from Vegas, but I was totally keeping to the diet. It's actually been easier that I expected to stay off the rice and carbs. not counting the day I was locked in that yummy bakery (droool)... But I'll try to get on a scale today. Everyone keep posting. what's up with Peter? Why is he MIA???

  3. I'm still on it. I've been weighing myself everyday (because I'm stupid like that and need that daily encouragement.) Yesterday I was good about keeping off the carbs but ended up having 3 glasses of wine. Today is my cheat day so I justified it by saying that my cheat day is from Wed 3pm to Thursday 3pm. Total weight loss- 3 pounds.

    Cyn: Everyone got sick after Vegas-- it's the smoky air! I still feel like I have a raspy voice.
